Stacey Johnson is married and has two young children. She is a Detroit native, who studied Drama at ML King HS under the direction of Dr. Denise Cotton (Founder of Detroit Performing Arts HS). She attended Dillard University and Pursued a BA in Criminal Justice Administration at Concordia College (Ann Arbor, MI)
She is a retired Inkster Police Officer where she served as a Community Relations/DARE Officer and road patrol officer.
She started Stacey J Productions LLC, November 2011. She has written, produced, and directed several plays:
- “A Woman of Courage” 2004
- “Lovers Of Themselves” December 2011
- “Consequences” May 2012, and December 2015
- “Spare The Rod” December 2014, May 2015
She has recently started an after school faith based drama program at Westside Christian Academy in Detroit. The students are involved with every aspect of putting on a full stage Christ centered Production. The money raised helps to fund the Performing Arts Ministry.
Her interests are; traveling, cooking, swimming, script consulting, public speaking acting and writing.
She is involved in various organizations such as Urban Playwrights United, and Anointed Pen Writers.
